About The Role:
We are looking to hire a result-driven mobile/web quality assurance engineer to analyze, troubleshoot, and optimize our web and mobile products.
In this role, you will be evaluating mobile devices, testing live applications, and troubleshooting updates, among other duties.
The primary responsibilities include performing manual testing and evaluation of our mobile/web products and software applications across multiple platforms including web applications, iOS, and Android to ensure that end users receive quality products.
Your job duties include identifying bugs and glitches, checking network connectivity, ensuring mobile software applications function properly, and evaluating the overall user experience (UX). You also provide feedback to the mobile development team so they can make improvements before product launch.
Ultimately, a top-notch mobile Quality Control engineer should be displaying a solid knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS & Android)
Responsibilities:
Reviewing the requirements and preparing test scenarios.
Testing mobile devices to ensure their configuration, operation, and capabilities work efficiently.
Perform the required type of functional and non-functional testing (smoke, functional, regression, UAT, performance, security, etc..) to ensure high-quality standards are implemented.
Analyzing test results on database impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
Ability to think out-side-box for reproducing, re-creating issues.
Working with Technical manager, product managers, and development teams to test and optimize mobile products.
Preparing clear and concise test reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the development teams and co-workers when needed.
Participate in defining the product roadmap and adjusting priorities as per the business changes.
Suggesting new processes and policies to improve mobile development techniques.
Ability to write test plans.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in software quality assurance.
BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Hands-on experience with Mobile application testing.
QA work across platforms and mobile applications.
Excellent teamwork skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable with working in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with automated testing tools is a plus
Experience with the unit testing / e2e testing or experienced with test frameworks and automation
