What you will do :
- Work closely with senior management to build and shape the startup's internal culture. We are looking for non-traditional culture creators and thinkers (We aspire for a culture like Netflix, Atlassian, Snapchat, etc..).
- Author and execute company's policies and procedures, reporting structure, organizational hierarchy, team-building and all HR related processes.
- Lead recruitment, head-hunting, hiring, on-boarding and training activities of new team members, including drafting and posting job ads, campaign management, screening candidates, interview scheduling and preparing new hire on-boarding materials.
- Manage all information and documentation relating to employee benefits, including payroll deductions, enrollment forms, open enrollment materials distribution, and employee updates.
- Execute activities to attract and retain employees (anniversaries, team building activities, employee appreciation gifts/events, benefits, perks, cultural highlights, etc.).
- Lead & execute Recruitment Programs that span multiple weeks of training to source the best candidates for a given open position after passing multiple exams
- Represent the company in job fairs and build strong bond with universities to source smart graduates.
- Manage documentation and scheduling of staff performance reviews.
- Track performance management schedules of all staff, including scheduling on a shared calendar and sending out forms, instructions, and reminders.
- Administer employment verifications, wage deductions, employee conflict resolution and other employment-related inquiries/requests.
- Manage time-attendance, time-sheets, employee vacations, etc..
- Support payroll administration, ensuring that all employees are paid accurately and according to HR policies.
- Support the roll-out of training and HR policies.
- Act as the Point of Contact for employees’ regarding all matters related to health insurance and the insurance company.
What we are looking for:
- Preferably a BA/BS degree in HR, Business Administration or other related fields and 5+ years of hands-on experience, or 3+ years of applicable hands-on experience in an HR function, with progressive career growth.
- Excellent knowledge in labour and HR local laws (Jordan) and management including wages, benefits, and employment processes.
- Proven sense of professional discretion, integrity, and ability to manage situations diplomatically and to effective resolution.
- Approachable, able to form good relationships, and effective organizational skills.
- Proficient in computer applications, especially with MS Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Excellent in both Arabic & English (reading & writing).
- You thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with little direction.
