Cura supports the Quality of Life for Ministry of Commerce Employees

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Cura, a Saudi-founded and leading digital health company, announced  partnership agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Commerce, to enable access to health benefits for the Ministry of Commerce’s employees and their families. This new employee-first collaboration will advocate for employee wellness and accelerate what it believes is a critical change for workplace physical and mental health on a health-first basis.

The “Nabeek Tayeb” health initiative falls under the Quality-of-Life Program at the Ministry of Commerce and aims to realize the Saudi Arabian 2030 vision by strategically improving the lifestyle and livability of individuals, families, and communities.

Through the collaboration, Cura will work with the Ministry of Commerce’s leadership and their employees to deliver health programs through a unified mobile application that offers access to a variety of services that include urgent care, specialized care virtual consultations, wellness, and home care programs.

At the heart of this initiative lies the in-facility virtual clinic, which focuses on urgent care consultations for employees to quickly resolve their health issues and access doctors. Also, as part of the initiative, Cura and the Ministry of Commerce will perform a holistic feasibility study to better understand the employee’s health status and the current state of mental health challenges in the workplace to overcome behavioral difficulties, which will return its investment to the workplace community and culture.

Osama Al-Duhami, Executive Director of Internal Communications at the Ministry of Commerce, commented: Our goal from Nabeek Tayeb is to provide access to digital health services in efforts to achieve better levels of occupational health and safety measures. He also added that our strategic goal is to improve staggering challenges such as employee engagement and serve segments who are in need of care due to chronic conditions or mental health issues. This statement is in line with the ministry’s strategy of improving quality-of-life programs for its employees and their families.

Wael Kabli, founder and CEO of Cura, stated: “Our mission at Cura is to provide access to a range of digital health solutions that meet the physical and mental health needs of every individual and help them flourish. This comes as part of  Cura’s social responsibilities toward empowering strategic health initiatives within organizations. While it is important to look at the organization’s health outlook, resolving staggering health challenges will help organizations achieve better levels of employee retention rates, lower the employee’s sick days, and look after the employee’s well-being and burnout issues
